Craft Fair Bible
Craft fairs are vibrant spaces where creativity, community, and commerce come together. As a visitor, stepping into a craft fair means entering a world of unique, handmade treasures and inspiring stories. The "Craft Fair Bible" is here to enhance your experience by guiding you through everything you need to know to make the most of your visit.
Why I Created This Guide
Craft fairs have been instrumental in building my brand, MAS Montréal, and connecting with a community of like-minded individuals who appreciate quality craftsmanship. As someone who has participated in countless fairs, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming the experience can be for visitors. From navigating the maze of booths to discovering hidden gems and connecting with artisans, I wanted to create a resource that ensures your craft fair journey is enjoyable and stress-free.
Why You’ll Love It
This guide is designed with you in mind—a curious visitor eager to explore and support local makers. It’s practical, insightful, and filled with tips to help you plan your visit and engage meaningfully with artisans. Whether you’re a seasoned craft fair enthusiast or attending for the first time, the Craft Fair Bible offers something for everyone. You’ll discover advice on what to look for, how to shop sustainably, and even how to strike up conversations with the makers behind the creations.
1. Browse Our Website Beforehand
Check out our website and DM me if there’s something specific you’d like to see at the show! I can’t bring my full inventory, so this ensures you won’t miss out on the pieces you love.
 2. Come Early
You know how popular the Tofino shirt is—it tends to disappear quickly! To secure your desired size, I recommend arriving early. ⏰
3. Dress Smart
We’ll have a changing room available, but if you’re short on time, wearing a tank top and neutral pants will make trying on pieces a breeze.
4. Bring Reusable Bags
Let’s keep it sustainable! Bring your own reusable bags to carry home your new treasures, keeping your hands free while you shop! ♻️
5. Ask About Sizes
If you don’t see something in your size, just ask! Sometimes I have extra stock or items ready to be replenished.
6. Step Outside Your Comfort Zone
Craft fairs are a fantastic opportunity to try something new. Take a risk and try on a piece you wouldn’t normally pick—you might just fall in love with it! 😍
See you Soon!
